Possible to install XP on M1530 or M1330?

Just curious. I have an OEM edition of XP Pro from my Dell Dimension 8400 PC. Will XP work on either an M1530 or an M1330? Do I need to find special drivers?

Dell support used to have a full set of M1330 drivers for XP on their website,but not anymore

I would imagine a lot of drivers if not all would be suitable for 1330 or 1530 provided the same hardware is being used.....you might just have to install the driver from the device manager to get past the ID restraints if the normal way says "wrong device" blah,blah,blah.

I just bought a Vostro 1310 with XPP on it and presumably that would give another place to try for drivers on the support site.

It is possible

Running it now, works great. Highly recommend these drivers and XP to anyone using Windows Pista.
