It appears that ASUS is showing off their next wave of laptops, the G50V and the G71V, both of which feature a 9700M GPU with 512MB GDDR3. The notebooks feature, at least the 15-inch display model does, a WXGA 3D display.
There are pics of the new notebooks to go with the story but you can't really get a feeling for the 3D element of the display in them.
