Convert M1330 from vista to XP, possible?

I've got several programs, one that requires a several hundred dollar upgrade to make it compatible to vista, that I'd like to continue using on XP. Couldn't even buy a computer with XP on it when I was at the computer store a couple months ago.

My buddy said it might be possible to extract vista off this new laptop & install XP onto it. The drivers to support XP being the only snag he mentioned. Went to the dell site to try and find said drivers for my dell machine, but couldn't locate them.

Any help would be great.

XP runs fine on my m1530, should work on the 1330 if you get all the correct drivers

Well, how do I determine what the correct drivers are. I'm clueless, really! KEvin
