CPU Upgrade for Vostro 1500

Was just thinking about putting a faster CPU in my notebook and was wondering if anyone has successfully done this on vostro 1500. right now i have a 1.4 GHz C2D and was thinking of upgrading to a 2.2 GHz C2D. Any Suggestions?

You shouldn't have any problem,just make sure you update to the latest bios for your notebook from dells support site,just to make sure,before you upgrade.

Personally I would get a penryn T8100 or T8300,just because they're a fair bit cooler running [better batter life] and perform just as well despite having less L2 cache.
