GeForce Drivers on a 3600m

Thread Starter
Hey All - have a new dell mobile workstation laptop 6300m with the quadrofx 3600m . I read that gaming performance would be better if i installed geforce drivers on the machine, but upon downloading the geforce drivers i get an error that i dont have any graphics cards supported by the drivers.. which i kind of expected.

So short question is, how can i tune this 3600m best for gaming? i know it's a card for autocad and such but this is the best i could afford and i had read that the 3600m is not too shabby :-) .. can I in fact install geforce drivers and if so, how do i go about it?

You need to install a modified driver, be it from LaptopVideo2Go or here, as the standard ForceWare drivers are for desktops, and thus only support desktop GPUs.

If you want my personal recommendation, I'd suggest 175.16, or if you're willing to wait, I'm currently testing 177.35, but I also don't know how those will turn out, so 175.16 would be a "safe" good bet.
