M1330 Vista Ultimate 64 SP1

Has anyone tried installing Vista Ultimate 64 w/ SP1 on the M1330?

I am using build #6001 and the os installs but I receive many errors once i boot up. So many so that I can't even install drivers. The error is similar but I receive for many different apps (ie. ie, taskman, explorer).

I have also noticed that the os install takes 2 hours where as the 32 bit version only takes 45 minutes.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

It turns out I was using a bad vista 64 build. I had originally downloaded the latest vista 64 w/ SP1 iso off msdn. After looking again it turns out that was a "Checked/Debug Build". I'm not sure what that means but after installing the standard vista iso it works fine.

Thanks for your help.
