Creating RAID 0 problems

Thread Starter
Hello, yesterday i set up two new HDD in my 5790 and at first had problems with driver instalation - errors. Now after 2 hours of annoying floppy disk i was able to go to instalation OS. The thing is when i come to a point where we choose partition i have only one disk prox.190gb. I did try to set in the RAID options:
CREATE ARRAY then RAID 0 for Performance [press enter] then:
AUTO SETUP FOR PERFORMANCE i get in status STRIPE0 and STRIPE1.
CREATE NEW RAID SUCCESS!!
Now when i exit the setup and enter again i get STATUS - SOURCE and MIRROR.

What am i doing wrong...i did that only once a over a year ago when i was installing new set of HDD.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not familiar with the platform or the process... It's possible one of the drives is bad or isn't seated right. Are there jumpers on the drives? If so, they might need to be removed or set correctly. If you've only got one drive showing up after driver installation though, there's an issue recognizing the drive.

Here is Alienware's knowledge base article on setting up RAID for the m5790.
