Does anyone know if there is a smart bay battery available for the m17x? It seems like the one for the m15x should be interchangeable, but ??

i have another question about the smart bay option for the m17x. if i dont choose anything for this option, can i buy a hard drive and install it there?

you can install two hard drives in it already... do u want three hard drives? you can buy a smartbay hard drive to install instead of having a optical drive in it... dont know if you could install the smartbay drive in a raid config though...

yeah you can install a second hard drive in the other empty bay and the smart bay can be either your extra battery or optical drive which ever one you need...

you can buy a second hard drive from like newegg.com but i dont know what format the hard drive has... if you just get a standard laptop the optical drive will be in the smart bay and then it pops out and you can place a seond battery in it to get longer battery life...
