HP Compaq Presario C773TU Audio Driver for XP?

I brought a HP Compaq Presario C773TU Laptop which comes with DOS only. I put Windows XP on it even though HP promotes vista. Got all interfaces up except the connexant HD audio. Tried and failed various packs from HP and net. Can any body please suggest how I can get this Audio Driver for XP?

Why would you think the "benchmarks" section would be an appropriate place to post this. So you either a) didn't pay attention to the forum structure which is bad or b) didn't care about the forum structure which is worse.

reply back if this works. don't just download these and run away because someone else is going to come from google and be wondering if these worked for your system.

Hi, I'm that some one who came from google to solve similar problem that I am facing using your proposed solution. I executed the program sp32646.exe and restarted my notebook but when I tried to execute sp38314.exe, I got an error saying that "Driver Installation Failed: Could not find the MEDIA device for this driver."

Any other solution?

Have you tried manually updating the driver? Go into device manager, choose update driver and point it to the folder where the driver was being extracted to.
