ok, this has been driving me nuts..
i put 2x250gb sata drives in my lappy, enabled RAID i BIOS, created a RAID0 array and i get 2 issues..
Windows Xp:
will completely install but when it tries to boot for the first time it blue screens 1 second after the windows logo comes up.. its 0xf8 which are driver issues.. even when i loaded drivers from diskette it did the same thing.
Windows Vista Home:
this came with the laptop.. when i boot to the cd it will recognize the drive as 500gb as it should, but when i try and install to that drive it gives me this error
"windows is unable to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation"
someone plz help me figure this out before it drives me insane
Update:
i unplugged both my external hdds and vista installed fine, got to windows and installed drivers and rebooted. After first reboot it gave the OS not found.. reinstalling ATM.. had to remove external drives again
