Can anyone help me in downgrading vista to Xp ?? plz
and where am i suppose to download all the drivers required ?? I 'll be very thankful

There's a reason why it's not easy to downgrade. The drivers probably don't exist for your model.

How's that helpful? Half the fun is sticking it to HP and putting XP on these "Vista Only" systems.

Here's what I need to know:

Goto device manager (in vista), tell me:

what modem you have
graphics
sound, video, game controller
ieee 1394 bus host controller
network adapters

hi ,i have found a tutorial for installing xp on hp dv 2601tx laptop.all drivers for xp are available.and it's 100% working.you can find it here.
