Aurora mALX boot issue

Hello,

We have a Aurora mALX Laptop. And all of the sudden it wont boot. Just gives us beeps.

Beep, Beep-Beep-Beep, Beep-Beep-Beep, Beep

Now from looking at it it appears we get a 1-3-3-1 code. Which seams to be a Auto size Dram error.

We bought a new ram module and it still didn't work. Next is could it be anything other then the motherboard. And if its the Motherboard where can we get a new MB for it?

Any help will be great.

If you can't get help from Alienware, the mALX is a Clevo M590K. Any computer shop that works on Clevo laptops should be able to get parts. This laptop base model was also sold by companies like Sager, and others, so there should be someone out there that can get parts if that's needed. Might try rjtech.com.

I'd try to find someone in your area that does laptop repair and can get clevo parts.

Have you tried booting into the bios or won't it get that far? Safe mode? Have you tried putting the windows install boot disc in to see if it'll start the install process?

Thanks for the information. I have not tried a boot disc yet. And no it wont go into bios which is why I didnt bother with a boot disc.

The bad part is it just went off warrenty 2 weeks ago.
