HI guys:

What do you think about this notebook, HP Compact NC4010.

PentiumĀ® M 1.60 GHz
512Mb RAM
40Gb HD
12'1 TFT
1,56Kg weight.
ATI Mobility Radeom IGP 350Mb with 32Mb of RAM
Bluetooth
WIFI B and G
6 Cells battery.

I need a small notebook; I would like to know what do you know about the quality of the TFT screen of this notebook, the general construction as well.

What about the integrated video card what performance should I expect ?

Thank you very much.

You mean Note: very good or Not very good ?

I'm quite decide to buy this notebook. Seems very well done, powerfull and very very light weight. And also the ATI card seems to be much faster than the typical intel graphics extreme 2 that is built in quite all ultra light notebooks.

What do you think ?

I meant not very good. Hehe. Funny typo.

Yeah, ATI's better than Intel. I like HP's nc series, too. Pretty inexpensive, good warranty, and well built (good keyboard layout, among others!).

I have a great offer to buy such a refurbished nc4010 for ~ 1000$ .
Well it is not 0 day modell, but it seems to have quite much power. I would like a Samsung Q30 much more, but I don't want to spend as much money.

Please give me a comment, if I should buy it or not or tell me if there are any
alternatives.

Did you guys look here too:

HP refurbished

I have an nc4000 and it's been trouble free for the past year. Granted I did not usually use it for gaming or anything intensive. The weight is definitely a plus. However, for me, the build quality was the main draw.
