Acer Aspire 1681WLMi Graphical issues

Hello everyone,

I have little patches of lines appearing everywhere on my screen and would like to know how I can fix it. The lines appear in different form from time to time and appear as soon as I turn the computer on.

Here's a screen shot of what it looks like when I'm in windows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try hooking your laptop up to an external monitor. If the same problem persists, its probably your Graphic Processor Unit, which will necessitate a complete system board replacement. If the problem clears up with the external monitor, its probably your LCD or screen or inverter going
