Omg i am so bloody lost!
As you always do before you purchase somethink expensive, you do ALOT of reasearch on what you want to buy...well at least i do. You want to make the RIGHT decision and be happy with it for years to come.
Im a previous owner of a m1710 and was pretty happy with it, managed to overclock the 7950gtx to 625/850 and the card never died on me (for 3 years) now im in search for my new gaming rig and want the best fps in games and the added opportunity in overclocking the gpu and maybe the cpu.
And i compared, compared, compared, compared and compared until i couldnt any more and was totally convinced that the np9262 was for me.

NP9262 uses desktop processors (quad)
The cooling is alot better in the np9262 (as read elsewhere)
Can overclock 8800m gtx sli
And just generally looks smarter
But!!.....
Just read somewhere else that the m1730 (although used due core processors) can have their 9000 extreme overclocked to 3.4! Compared to a fastest q9550 in the np9262 at 2.8.
Ive also read people getting better overclocking on their 8800gtx sli on the m1730 compared to the np9262 and now im just bloody confused!
Im confused which one to go for and just feel like i will make the wrong decision. Ive searched on the internet for days for benchmarks (np9262 vs m1730) and cant find what i want.
So i have some questions written on a peice of paper infront of me and praying that i'll get them answerd, so i thought id ask them here..
1) I know games are always GPU bottlenecked, but would you reckon a q9550 be the bottle neck in a 8800gtx sli setup? Running quad core with 2.8 compared to intel due core at 3.4 (overclocked)
2) Does m1730 gpus overclock better then the n99262..if so......HOW!?!?!
3) Does anybody????? i mean Anybody have any RAW benchmarks between the m1730 vs the n99262 because google hasnt, ive googles until my heart content but cant find none.......crysis benchmarks between them, overclocked gpus between them or 3d mark scores??? Anythink out their???

Please dont just say...m1730/np9262 is better and thats it?...Why is it better, how? I need to be convinced that its going to be right before i pay for it!
