Core Temps and PSU Questions

Hi all --

I have a question about core temperatures on the Core 2 Duo processors.
I have my processor overclocked to 3 GHz from the stock 2.6 GHz (E6600). I'm concerned about the core temps though. Using the monitor from here, I've obtained my min and max temperatures. What's an acceptable max temp I should try to not pass?

Also, I have a question about voltages from my power supply. I noticed that my 12v rail was only at something like 10.39 but was consistently there (between 0.01 in the min and max). Is this something I should be concerned about?

Thanks.

No idea what the temp threshold is for the E6600. Try Googling "Max E6600 OC temps" and see what comes up.

CoreTemp is typically used to measure Conroe temps.

RealTemp is a newer app used widely to measure Penryn temps.

As far as the PSU is concerned, is that 10.39 at idle or under load? If it's at idle, try downloading another app to measure 12v (just to make sure).

What PSU do you have?
