Upgrading RAM

I wanted to have a go at upgrading my Toshiba Satellite X205-S7483, which has a base amount of 2 GB. I opened the little door up and saw that there are two RAM sticks in what look to be flimsy little brackets.

To put in the 2 GB stick I bought, it would be necessary to move one of the 1 GB sticks, but I've no idea how to do it without breaking the brackets. Am I supposed to grab the stick and pull up, or what?

Also, my Vista Home Prem x86 can only use up to 3 GB RAM, correct?

This should explain it well. Its a video with another type of notebook but the procedure is the same. Yes, unless your Vista is the 64bit variety, it will only see and use 3GB

Thank you, but I'm on dialup and cannot use streaming media.
