Hello I am trying to replace my RAM, well I have unscrewed the 7 screws. Well for some reason it will not open. Is there something else I am supposed to so? It is a new computer.

one might be hiding uder a plastic rubber foot

no there is no rubber foot in this. It can not even be raised up once unscrewed. Not even a corner.

Check this pic out, there appears to be more screws than the seven that the manual shows

can u try to prop/pry up the cover along the sides? sometimes it is being holding in place with snapped latches. based on the pics, i could only see 7 myself, as u stated above

Count the screw holes and see which ones you are missing
