toshiba satelite m60 - display problem

i have toshiba m60 notebook, the problem is i see about 10 lines on left hand side of the screen, from top of screen to bottom of screen, i dont have problem viewing the windows, only the lines showing

can someone highlight as to what the problem could be. what part will i need to change

Try an external monitor to see if the lines show up. If not lines on the monitor, then its probably the vid chip (GPU) which means a total systemboard replacement
