XP drivers for A215-S6820 !!! PLZ HELP!

Hello.
I have A215-S6820 with Windows Vista installed.
I want to downgrade my Vista to XP SP2 version because I have to run certain prorams only working on XP. =(
During this independence day weekend, I have to reimage XP into my laptop so that I can work on my work starting next Tuesday!!
PLZ HELP!!

Do a search on this forum for A215 WinXP there should be lots of threads with links to where to find your drivers. Think about dual booting at least until you are completely set up with WinXP. You will at least have one system that is completely usable

BTW, what is dual booting?
I have 300GB HDD, but only c drive is available. There is no other partition.
Is it still possible to set up dual booting?

Yes it's possible, but may or may not be a trivial task depending on how much computer skill you have.

anytime u want, search the forum, plenty of guides and inputs. Take ur time, follow the directions. If u screw up (and u won't), heck, the partition is still there, play again

Hope this is not too late...i've been using my A215-S6820 with xp service pack 2 and now using service pack 3 without any problem. try these drivers... http://rapidshare.com/files/130697883/AS215-6820XP.rar

The only thing that may not work will be the ATI drivers they have to be moded first..if you don't know how please mail me back and i'll explain..

Are you sure that everything is working?, i can't get the Fn keys working. also I have problem with the multimedia buttons. Everything else is very easy to setup. Only use the generic driver for video, wireless, lan, sound, and some old versions of configfree and camera assistant

Hi...the link posted contained all the drivers needed wifi,sound,biometrics(dwnload from toshiba),camera(can be downloaded directly from toshiba),video etc are working..by working i mean you can safely use them under xp but as for the optional options such as specific power management,Fness and other options they will not function...but they are 100% functional under windows Vista...

I've also noted that the battery tends to last much longer under vista rather that under XP since in vista not all EXTRA functionalities are enable...hope this helps and if you find a way to enable the Fn options let us know...

P.s: i've already tried to install common modules under xp and it does not work..
