Can I fix a crack in my notebook case?

Thread Starter
My notebook has a crack in the case behind the monitor. It is in corner not far from the hinge. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to repair this? I guess I could just leave it alone but I actually do carry this tank around quite a bit with me and am afraid that tranporting it is going to make it worse.

I was thinking about trying to patch it by taking the screen out and patching it with some kind of fabric and glue - maybe a thin layer of fiberglass with super glue? and then patching it from the outside with either only super glue or glue and a layer of the same material.

Any suggestions?

This is why you open the screen by pushing on the center...not the edge. If you were doing this then carry on.
