So I just got a Lenovo Yoga 13. This is my review.
As what I primarily do is writing and programming, having a good keyboard is critical for me, which is why a tablet alone can’t work for me, and...
I have owned dozens of laptops in a variety of brands, and had many different laptops provided for my use at work. Without question, this is the finest I have owned. The Alienware M17x R2 is a...

I've decided to get the t61p, but have one more question before I do. Is the screen too dim. Can someone possibly compare it to the dv1000 or the dv2000 is it brighter than those notebooks.
u r asking a question that a person must own these 2 comps in order to answer back. lenovo and hp screens resolution and presentation are good. but it is down to the user to decide if the screen is bright or dim according to her/his eyes
I have the T61p, but I haven't used those HP notebooks. That being said, the screen on the T61p is dimmer than most other laptops I've used. I personally don't mind.
I can only really compare the DV9000 with the T61p.
The DV9000's 1440x900 glossy screen is certainly brighter and more vibrant than the T61P's 1920x1200 LG matte screen.
that being said, I prefer my T61P's screen. It's very bright and vibrant, the best matte screen I've seen. Certainly better than the 1680x1050 screen I had in my T60.
