Looking for Intel based laptop

I'm pretty satisfied with my desktop at the moment, and I'm looking for a laptop that can perform just as well (if not better). Here's the desktop's specs as well as a few other footnotes.

Processor: AMD XP3200+ ~2.2ghz
Motherboard: NFII Ultra Infinity
Memory: 2.0GB 400DDR
Video Card: Radeon 9600XT
Sound Card: Sound Blaster! (the original)

other random thoughts:

A videocard with an s-video out would be awesome. Also, a great sound card would be nice as well (I'm more of an audiophile than anything else). As long as this notebook can play UT2004, COunter Strike Source, and Star Wars
Battlefront II without a hitch, I'll be happy.

And as one last note, I'll be using this notebook for image editing, so a high quality monitor might also be a plus. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

most of intel based laptops at the moment can probably do better than what u have in ur desktop, and probably offering pretty much the same specs across the spectrum. So load up ur cash and use NBF search models utility and u'll be set

yea wow, i think your speced desktop is comparable to my four year old ferrari lol. Once you upgrade to the new monteniva chips, you are going to see world of difference, and good time to upgrade too, new laptops are churning out as we speak as the processor launched yesterday
