M1730 updates?

When will we see montevina in a 1730? Are we still putting it in roughly August, September? What about quad core? Quad core is Q3 2008 right?

You will not see Montevina in the 1730. I would expect it in the next version of the XPS. I have never seen any manufacturer make that kind of a change in a current model as it would require a new motherboard.

hmm wow I'm a little surprised you think so. The 1730 hasn't really been out that terribly long for a complete model change.
