Right i really hope someone can help me with this.Im soon about to purchase the m1730, i compared it with the sager np9262 and i like how the m1730 overclocks alot better then the sager. However i have one problem, the m1730 only offer vista in 32bit, confusing because on dells website they offer 64bit drivers for the m1730. Soooo......been speaking to a few dell reps and they are stubbrn as hell and wont upgrade me with the 64 bit. I need the 64 bit because the 32 bit you cannot physically use all 4 gigs and this is important for gaming. Also crysis has a 4-6 framerate lead over the 32 bit vista with the 64 bit vista.Right, so is their anyway that microsoft can upgrade the 32 bit vista to 64 (upgrade licence) maybe at a reduced price or can i keep pushing dell on this issue.

What Vista version do you have? Dell offers the 64 bit version of the Ultimate and Business for free.

I just ordered an M1730 and was told that dell did NOT have vista ultimate.

I'm hoping I can use my desktop ULTIMATE DVD with my Dell vista product code.

Did I get bum info about 1730 & Dell Ultimate 64?
