You ll need rivatuner:

Here are some settings you can put to make your overclocking a bit easier:
http://forums.vr-zone.com/showthread.php?t=56017

Then when you run the program click customize (the one next to where it says "forcewear detected") and then system settings.
Then select "Enable driver level hardware overclocking. And from the drop down menu next to it select performance 3d.
Now you can overclock. You can get higher overclocking if you unlink the core and shader clocks.
Let me know how high you can get.

It might not be a good idea after Nvidia made their recent announcement about "defective" 8 series cards.

That's if your warranty has expired. Usually if you stress a defective card it will show problems quite soon. SO if you have a warranty you have nothing to worry about.

Hm, well, it's my friend's m1530 ^^, and he was a little dissapointment about the graphics performance... but i cant go suggest a 17 inch laptop for college >-<.

But it's new, and he still has his 1year basic warranty. So given his card fails, he'd get a replacement guaranteed, not like they can prove he did some OC'ing?

How does a defective card show problems? Excess heat, or artifacts? Thx
