Acer Aspire 9304 Will Not See Or Read 4gb SD Cards

Hi,

This is my first post and i was wondering if you can help me please?

I have a built in 1-5 card reader but the max size it will read is 2gb. Is there an update, or something so my laptop can read 4gb cards or more?

not that I have heard of. you may want to get a usb SDHC card reader. the built in reader is not capable of reading SDHC cards.

Yes have a usb card reader that is fine. I have heard i may be able to make my lappy see 4gb cards.

Older laptops were made before 4GB cards were made and consequently are unable to read them. Technology marches on and invariably leaves us behind
