Vista error events 500 and 501

Now I am sure that someone here has come across this problem in Vista already, but I can't seem to find anything when searching through the forums about it....

Eitherway, my system is a 9400, with a T7200, 2GB ram and Nvidia 7900 GS (Rev. 0) and I am running Vista Business 32bit... The problem that I keep coming across is that in just the standard OS (especially after resuming from Sleep) I keep getting Event 500 and 501 errors, which is graphics sub system overutilized, plus if I ever try to watch a movie after the computer sleeps it never plays properly. Plus Vista suggest that I disable transparency, reduce resolution, or disable areo.... but seriously the 7900 gs is way more than capable of handling areo, so what gives

Has anyone ever come across this? Is there any suggestions......

Oh also if it helps I am running the NBF Forceware 175.31

Thanks...

I have seen this on a number of different machines, all of them with monster graphics cards and graphics scores of 5.9... My conclusion on this one is that you can ignore it safely. I also doubt this has anything to do with your video playback issues. The machines I am seeing this on have no issues at all that I can see...

Sorry if this isn't of much help...

ok... appreciate the answer pirx. Is there anything that I can do about the poor video playback problem? I have noticed that this issue dissappears when I disable Vista's Areo....

but I am wondering if I could be done without disabling it?
