Toughbook suitable for office work?

Hi,

I have been given an opportunity to purchase a used CF-29 toughbook at a great price and was wondering if it would be okay for basic office activity (power point, word, etc)?

I have three different ones to choose from, one is a 1.2GHz, 1.3Ghz, and 1.4Ghz. They are all Pentium M's. Obviously the price increases with each speed bump.

Memory varies from 256MB to 512MB. Would there be a dramatic speed difference between these different settups? There will be no gaming on this laptop.

Many thanks,

Brian

well you are just using it for basic uses such as word and powerpoint like you said. I would just get the lowest processor as .1 to .2 ghz difference won't really be that significant, especially if you are only using it for word and powerpoint. I would opt for the most memory you can, if 512 mb is the highest get that. As ram would have more impact on your performance than on your cpu speed
