Webcam won't work

On my XA2528-12P the bison webcam won't work. After installing vista ultimate, it worked perfectly on msn for example, but now it just doesn't. The lamp next to it should have a green light when but it doesn't. Could someone who has webcam in his computer tell if you can see the green light next to the webcam.

Is the webcam broken? Once on messenger, the picture seemed to be a bit blurry so i gave it a gasp and then dried with piece of paper. the webcam worked fine after it until i stopped sending webcam. After it i haven't been able to run it.

What has that to do with the webcam.. well whatever.

Turion TL-56 ~1.8GHZ
8600M GS

The more information we know the easier it is to help.

What do you mean it worked perfectly on MSN? You mean you could broadcast video on the internet? And then you installed Vista and now it doesn't work? Did this notebook come with XP originally?

When i bought the laptop it had vista home premium. I installed vista ultimate on it, but it still worked on ultimate. Till now..

But the light next to the objective isn't green, so it would really help if someone else who has a fujitsu laptop and webcam on it if the green light is on always.

just checked with a buddy fujitsu, his light is only on when beign accessed by relating apps. try unistall and reinstall device?

Ah, this is ridicilious.. for the first time i paid attention to 4 buttons that were next to the power off button, and guess what i found. A button, which had a small camera icon above it, i pressed it and the webcam's light started to flash. Everything works fine now. Problem solved.
