I am a fresh software engineer..I want to buy a laptop...the configuration and looks of SONY VAIO CR looks appealing but Can Sony VAIO CR be the laptop for programmers?
Additional Details

Well, I do coding in C/C++...not much of gaming... i want my laptop to be dual boot with ubuntu or RED-HAT and yes, there are times when lots of heavy processes(like client server or shell scripts) are running simultaneously...all i want is smooth run of all my processes....will the following configuration serve the purpose:
