It's been a while since I've been on this forum, but I'm in the market for another laptop.
My main computer is a desktop that I built. I would just like a notebook for mobility, I seem to be needing it alot lately.
My last notebook was an ASUS Z70a, after three years of abuse it's still going strong, but I donated that to my little sister.
I would love to get my hands on an ASUS, but don't know if my budget will allow that. I've been trying to see if anyone still has the Z60a, or the W3v, but apparently those have been phased out for a while.
Anyhow:
-Don't need a dedicated GPU
-Looking for decent battery power
-Preferably 15.4 in
-Good Build quality (subjective, I know)
That asus I owned had carbon fiber chassis, and was rock solid, so going from that to a plastic shell, might be difficult for me. So build quality is very important. I have a budget of 1000k dollars max (since this will not be my primary pc), even though I would like to stay under that. I have seen the DEll 1525 go for 500 bucks, but a couple years ago dell build quality was a joke. I don't know if that has changed.
Like I said, I haven't seen what notebooks are out there, in years. Any recommendations?
