Flickering screen?

Sometimes my screen will start flickering for a little bit, as if I was unplugging and replugging in the power supply (you know how it gets less bright when you do that?) it doesn't turn black, just less bright. Sometimes it will do that a bunch and if I tap the screen it will do it a little more. But after this usually it will stop no matter what I do, it just seems to happen when I first turn on the computer.

Does anyone know about this, I'm slightly worried that this is the sign of my screen dying...

That was happening to me a while ago and it occasionally comes back. Whenver it starts, I adjust the brightness (down usually) until it stops. Seems to work for me.

EDIT: I would like to know if there's a known reason for this. Or better yet, a known fix.

Yeah a reason or fix would be good. Maybe I could contact the Sager tech suport people about it?
