between the two, which version is more efficient?

version 1:



version 2:



version 1 has more cooper but less surface area and vice versa.

I'd say version 1,maybe.

version 2 looks to have more fan blades and the pipe looks slightly wider though....hard to tell really.

Do you have the answer?

no...sorry. i guess i could run a battery of tests. anyone got suggestions on what programs/utilities to use?

I8kfangui for getting the maximum temps,ATItool for stressing GPU.....or even 3dmark06 might show enough temp difference to tell....most games are pretty good at making everything very hot,you would just have to be consistent as far as how long you play for etc to get fair temp readings from the two different systems.
