I was wondering if anyone owns this laptop(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834220356) or has experience with it. I have never owned an Asus before so I would like to know more about their build quality as well. Thank you for your time.

I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...

This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented. Overall A+++

I just received the M50Vm-X1 last night and really like it so far. The only question I would ask is do you really want to watch blueray on a 15.4 inch screen when you can even get 1080p rez from it. Over all though the laptop feels great. Mind you that the OS is 32bit so you are not going to get the full 4 gig of memory for the system.

+1 what DH's first post stated.
I debated on getting the B4 until I notice the LCD screen resolution for BluRay and is lower than the LCD resolution the m50vm-B2 model.
Very well built and solid.
You cannot go wrong with either model, just a personal preference and use. Notice Asus's awesome warranty coverage w/ Accident Coverage included in the price.
I ended buying the m50vm-B2 (only difference the -B2 vs your -B4 model is B2 = higher res LCD and 500gb drive vs -B4 = having Blu-Ray and 320GB and a lower resolution LCD). The hard drive brand on mine is a Hitachi 5400rpm SATA 300 drive.
I like the -B2 so far and you can easily add/upgrade to a Blu-Ray drive later versus in trying to upgrade to higher LCD screen.

Also, if you really want to watch BluRay on the Asus laptop with the correct LCD resolution to support it, check out the Asus's M70VM model with BluRay and 1900x1200 resolution on newegg.
I didn't go that route since the M70VM model = 17" LCD and too wide for my use and need, otherwise I would have.
