Buy now or later?

Hey Guys, I have a Dell E1705 I am getting rid of in exchange for an XPS 1530 but I just want to know if it's worth getting the xps now or if I should wait a little longer. I know the new Centrino 2 came out recently, but I haven't heard if Dell is putting out new models with them. Any ideas or rumors as to if new laptops are coming out in the fall? Im not going back to school til the end of August anyways... should I just wait and see if Dell comes out with new models?

dell is expected to release sometime before the school year begins. however pending where you live, dell has good deals right now. centrino 2 is a minor upgrade from current processors. whatever you do is ok. if you want a major upgrade, wait for 2 more years.

Now I heard a lot about the 1530 and how the HDD is loud as well as the Optical Bay. Have they fixed this yet? How noticable is it?
