Hi! The title says it all. I'm looking to upgrade my processor so I'm looking to buy either new or used, depending on the deal, a Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 or T9600 CPU for my Dell XPS M1530...

By the way there is 4 different T9500 from Intel web site and they have all the same p/n: FF80576GG0646M but different spec#: SLAZ, SLAQH, SLAYX, SLAPW and the voltage range specs vary very slightly. So can any of the different 4 chips fit without any concern for compatibility?

voltage and stepping codes shouldn't matter as long as your motherboard supports them.

Thanks! It answer part of my concern.

So then how do I know for sure if my motherboard support a particular CPU or not?
