So I've recently got my hands on five iGenie webpads that my poor grandmother was scammed into buying. Now I've been sitting playing with the thing trying to figure out what I can do with it. Running Windows CE and some "iGenie software" Can't seem to get it to connect to any wireless AP I try cause it juist won't find them.
Seemed to have broken the one after taking it apart and finding the 32mb compact flash card it uses for memory and fiddling with that (popped it in my desktop to see what all was on it).
Most of the information on this unit seems to no longer exist as far as the http://www.myigenie.com is up for sale. What I've found is http://www.nnu.com/products/webpad.html and thats not much.
Does anyone have further information, or can point me in a direction to get started toying around with it. Thought it would be fun to just have a webpad laying around the house. Or five in this case.
