Anyone know how to replace the internal fuse that protects the battery charging on a Lifebook V1010? The owner's manual warns:
"For Authorized Repair Technicians Only
Anyway, my V1010 quit charging the battery today when it was using the charger at work. I replaced the charger and now both lights are amber and it showed the battery at 42%. It reports that it's "charging" but it isn't.
The report was 42% all day, and the lights stayed amber. I took the charger out for a while tonight, and it ran fine on the battery, but now - with the charger back in - it reports the battery is at 27% and "charging" ... but it ISN'T!
So, there must be a fuse somewhere ... anyone know where and how it's accessed?
Thanks,
John
