I've always preferred UT to Quake. I'm not a fan of Quake or id to be honest. Yes its true that id is not the old id but at the same rate their games are still above par imo.

Some of my opinions
Halo 2 was overrated and unbalanced
Far Cry was crap
Call of Duty 2 was overrated (but still decent)
Call of Duty 4 is just way too noob-friendly
Mafia is one of the best games of all time

I also think that vehicles and RPG elements in shooters are gonna be the death of PC shooters.
If you put a gun on a shooter then it should be able to kill a full health person in a full clip (all domes).
A shooter does not have to have multiplayer to be considered good
Other stuff...

Honestly I don't know.
COD4 or BF2 are my favorite shooters.
GT3 Aspec or DiRT for driving games
RPG has to be STALKER ClearSky Final Fantasy Tactics.

But as for one game all time favorite I couldn't say. My taste in games has changed and conuties to.

HALO 2/3 where over rated.
Far Cry was fun as hell but Crysis, Warhead, and Farcry2 are dog poop.
COD 2 was and is still fun.
Never played Mafia.

The only thing I said in this thread was that I preferred UT (2K3) to Quake (3). Every other game I either said was mediocre or crap essentially. So I'm really only mentioning games I don't like and think are overrated.
