I was also impressed by the Flybook V5 business, when reading their adverts and tech specs

cheers ...

the wind isnt a mini notebook

there are plently of 10 inch laptops with full on support for everything tech

i had a Fujitsu 10.6 inch widescreen with a dvd burner windows xp, and a P-M 1.8 i think it was

mini notebooks, webbooks, UMPC's are all 8.9 inch and below

the acer aspire one is a decent one to look at

dell has one coming out soon too

and HP's only flaw with their mini note, is the via proc......its horrid

..
Forum users with "purple" coloured ids are actually brand representatives. NBF is welcoming them and hoping to attract many more from all possible resellers, to work together to offer good advices and services and "sympathetic" ears to NBF members.

A sense of "personal" and professional service, to be achieved.

cheers ...

Lol, no I am not a bot. But thanks for asking

At this time there are no pictures that I can post for you. I can say that it will not look like the new E-series Latitude; it is going to look more like an Inspiron.

im looking for a mini notebook, with at least 20gb hdd, and a dvd drive. any rec. whats people's opinions on the dell one to be released, and when is it's release date? here in australia, we only have 1 or 2 asus EEE mini notebooks available, but they suck, as they dont have alrge storage space, n no optical drive.

none of the mini notebooks/netbooks/UMPC's will have a dvd drive, youll have to get an external.....or find an UP something like a Fujitsu i owned, 10.6 inch widescreen, 710 something was the model

also, 20gb is not hard to reach.....as some come with 2.5 inch drives, and the SSD's can go beyond that, but the EEE's i know have a 4gb ssd for the boot, then backup 16gb ssd....that can be replaced, not the 4gb boot

you can get SDHC cards too.

Do we have any idea when Dell's will be coming out or the specs.

I am contemplating getting Acer's new Aspire one - with 1GB DDR2 memory, 120GB hard drive, etc.

Best buy has it for $349.00

also, if you know/can find out, will other colors be avail? the midnight blue or whatever its called is awesome, would be a great color for this mini guy!

Hello again,

The memory SSD memory is a single card.

The available colors for this computer are Obsidian Black and Alpine White. Finally, unfortunately I do not have any information about the chipset road map.
