Quote:
Featuring DirectX 10 and OpenGL 2.1 support, the new cards make use of GDDR3 memory and are set to be used in systems made by Dell, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, HP and Lenovo.

The cards released by Nvidia today are the Quadro FX 3700M, FX 2700M, FX 1700M, FX 770M and FX 370M and they pretty much cover the full price and performance spectrum. The FX 3700M is the top dog(g) and it features 128 Stream Processors/Processing Cores, 1GB of GDDR3 memory and a 256-bit memory interface. Going down the performance ladder, the FX 2700M and FX 1700M also have 512MB of memory but have to settle for 48 and 32 Processing Cores respectively.

The Quadro FX 770M also boasts 32 PCs, has a 128-bit interface, and can be paired up with 256 or 512MB of memory. Hitting rock bottom, the FX 370M has a 64-bit memory interface and just 8 Processing cores.

Quadro 3700 = Geforce 9800GTX
Quadro 2700 = Geforce 9800GTS
Quadro 1700 = Geforce 9700GTS
Quadro 770 = Geforce 9600GTS
Quadro 370 = Geforce 9400GS

^ I'm not sure you can make that comparison. I saw benchmarks in CPU Magazine two months ago that showed consumer cards dying in benchmarks of business-level applications where the Quadro cards flew through (but were also far more $$$).

in directx based games it is equal.... but with specialized drivers in max and such it is faster with quadro...but only in xp...vista cannot use the maxtreme driver yet..

no, you can't make this comparison.
now the quadro cards differ in more than only the drivers.

i.e. fx 3700m has 128 stream processors while 9800m gtx has only 112.
the fx 2700m has 48, the 9800m gts has 64.

and i think they differ in even more aspects.
also noone knows yet the difference between 8800m gs/gtx and the
fx 3600m, which seems to has 64 shaders like the 8800 gts but offers a speed
close to the 8800m gtx, which actually has 96 shaders. and that using the
quadro drivers.

it's not so easy like in the 7950 go and fx 3500 go days anymore...
