Toshiba M45-S269

Okay, so for some reason my laptop doesn't want to boot up, or something. The first Toshiba screen pops up, then it goes black for a bit, and then the black screen with the gray bars at the bottom shows up, and it just stays on that screen. I hit ESC to get to the bios, it says my memory is there, but I'm not all that computer literate, could anyone possibly know what my problem is?

Try connect to an external monitor and see if there is any difference

Don't think it'll work, the screen works, eventually the computer makes absolutely no noise, none of the usual boot up noises.

Made any difference with ac or battery being connected?

I'd try swapping the ram around, and possible get another drive and see if it makes any differences.

cheers ...
