4 way scroll button isnt working

Hi!

im using the aspire 4720. after a few mths, the 4 way scroll button suddenly stopped working. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the synaptics software but it still cant work.

can anyone pls help me?

try installing a fresh copy of windows again

I have a 4720z and sometimes the 4 way scroll as well as the touchpad scroller will just refuse to work I just go to the mouse settings in control panel disable and re-enable and it works again. Not sure if this would work for you where you have tried uninstalling / reinstalling though
