Hello,
I've been doing some research on laptops for the past few weeks, and have come to a conclusion for buying one of these laptops, the Sager NP5796 or the Gateway FX P-7211.
I can't decide on which laptop to get, more options, or no options and less price?
The Sager NP5796 can be upgraded/has a higher CPU, GPU, 4gb Intel Robson Turbo Memory, hard drive, Bluetooth, 2.0 MP webcam, thermal compound, fingerprint reader, and longer warranty than the Gateway FX P-7811, but the good thing about the FX is that is is wayyyyyyyyy cheaper than the Sager NP5796.
The only things I am worrying about if I buy the FX is the performance between the 9800m GTS(512mb) vs. 9800m GTX(1024mb), P8400 vs. P9500, the difference with the Intel Robson Turbo Memory, if the WiFi is any different, and how much thicker the Sager is.
Also, is it possible for Gateway FX P-7811 to be upgraded to a 9800m GTX, a Centrino 2 P9500, Intel Robson Turbo Memory, and added bluetooth?
How much would each of those components cost?
Thanks!
Victor
