Hey, i am going away from my home to study so i will need a new computer so i decided to buy myself a laptop instead. I want one of the top gaming laptops out there, whats the best bang for the buck for $2000.00 canadian? also must be 15"

I dunno, you could just find a gaming computer by cruising newegg, brick and mortar stores, etc etc and just see which ones give the best specs for the money. It's difficult to answer off the top of ones head which notebooks are the best bang for the buck because deals change daily on them.

also the fact that some of the best deals are not out there for us canadians since newegg doesnt ship here (at least last time i checked).

still there are some good deals out there if you look. what kind of gaming do you want to do? any prefered brands? why only 15inch?

Newegg has a placeholder site up at newegg.ca saying that they are expanding into Canada (no word on when, though).

Best Buy, Staples, etc have been putting laptops on sale. You can check the fliers online (any really good deals you will have to respond to early).

i would also suggest looking at the 15 inch dell xps machines, and the 15 inch alienware machines... both are great gamers and prices are totally out of line.

hi there, id recommend going to staples, and buying the gateway 6874h.

It has a hd2600 gddr3 card which is good enough for all new games..I'm telling you this because i own it. MY 3dmark05 score is 9600..overclocked and undervolted. the most iimportant detail is it only cost me 800 cad. I play crysis with my own config i made for the hd 2600, and i get 27fps avg at 1280x800 and it looks very high..everything set to very high but objects set to low(poly count basically) i get 30-40fps in 800x600 and it looks wicked.
