Hello,
I joined this forum and it's my first post because I'm in the market to get one of these small, compact, ultra-light, ultra-mobile, ya-da, ya-da, netbooks as a present for my wife. I see ASUS, Aspire, HP 2133, and anticipated Dell E (or mini-inspirons?) that are available or will be available out there.
I'm leaning towards the Aspire One, unless the Dell comes out, but from what I heard it was just all hype to push the new E-series laptops out.
Anyhow, these tiny things are supposed to run Linux, but do they provide support for multi-media apps such as iTunes? Or, am I better off just getting a regular laptop, or can any of the models mentioned above work with Windows XP, and therefore I can load iTunes? Reason I ask is my wife and daughter are also avid iPod users and if I do get one of these netbooks, they may ask if they can synch up their iPods with it.
Thanks in advance for anyone's help or comments!
