Dell XPS M1330 Display: LED vs. Standard

Thread Starter
Is there really that much of a difference between the two screen options? I really wouldn't mind paying an extra 125 bucks for the LED screen if I were buying a new laptop but I want to buy a refurbished one from the outlet store and all of the m1330 laptops at the outlet have a standard screen with 2MP webcam. I find it really strange that there isn't a single m1330 laptop with an LED screen at the outlet store!

I could just forget all about it and go in for an outlet laptop with a regular screen but I'm a big film buff and I'm going to be watching a lot of films on this laptop. I would like to have the optimal viewing experience.

Why am I posting this thread here then? I don't know. I guess it would be cool if someone could tell me that there isn't that much of a difference between the two screen options or that watching films on the standard screen is just as good as watching films on the LED screen...
Any thoughts?

There is a big difference. Laptops with LED-backlit displays are thinner, lighter, cooler laptop, with better brightness and colors. The reason that you can't find one from the refurbished store is because everybody wants them.

The M1330's with LED display are pretty nice. Extremely lightweight, and very thin. My customers with LED displays get rather impressive battery run-times.
