E1505 fan no longer working

So my fan on the e1505 has stopped coming on. The odd thing is I opened up the e1505 to take a look at it and i hooked up a 9V battery to it and it spun really fast and smoothly and seemed to be working fine. However it just doesn't come on. I've tried heating the laptop up but it gets to well over 60 degrees celsius without a hint of coming on.

Any ideas?

ok so it came on today.. but it took a while and was quite hot. how could the sensitivity of the motherboard fan levels changed?

im reading the temps through the motherboard so it can't be that. going up to 65+ degrees i have yet to see the fan on high like it used to, or anywhere near even half of the 9V speed i tested it on.

like a month ago it wouldnt even let it get up to 50s before high came on.

it seems like it doesnt have the low/medium mode anymore and just lets it heat up to 60+ then goes on high till its high 30's then it turns completely off until 60+...
