helpp!

Hi, please helpp!

i just got my laptop repaired at the Fujitsu Henderson service centre, and in the process of repairing, the engineer somehow agrevated the hairline crack at the bottom right side of the screen i originally had, and now half my screen is gone and i cant use my laptop anymore. I believe in the process of repairing somethin must have happened to allow the liquid in the lcd screen to leak. They blamed it on the original crack i had and did not want to assume any responsibility for the situation at all, hoping that i would just take the spoilt laptop home and not do anything about it. I talked to the service manager, and she said it was absolutely not their responsibility and only offered to get it repaired for ard $400.
I sent my laptop in for repair, hoping at least to get it back in its original condition. Now, i cant even use it properly and probably have to get a new laptop. I am a student and find it hard to fork out the money to get a new one.
Please, can anybody suggest what i can do to protect my rights as a consumer?
thank you so muchh!

You need to demand that the problem was NOT caused by you. You are being lied to and you need to demand compensation.

Pound it, stay with it. In writing. Consumer business office can also help, write to them. An used working lcd can set you back 100$ or less, and you can replace it yourself, should it be the last resort

cheers ...
